It's been awhile since I started this blog, and I'm starting all over. Not only with this blog, but with my life. In August we lost our house to Hurricane Issac. The surge from lake Ponchatrain flooded our home. The main stream media didn't cover it, so a lot of people were surprised to hear about the devastation we suffered. We are currently living in a camper in our front yard. My husband, an 18 month old, a cat, and Roxy. I'm seven months pregnant right now and we are in a mad rush to get back in our house before the baby is born.
I will be posting about rebuilding our house along with our lives and the life lessons we have learned. At least I'm having fun with the decorating process. The inner interior designer in me is coming out and I'm enjoying this part of the process (The only part) and I'm excited to share cool findings, designs, and trends along the way.
